I purchased this book because I wanted to know about upgrading my electrical system on my '66B. When I received the book I was very pleased. Although I usually read only the portions of a book I am interested in, today I finished the first 5 chapters and I am EXTREMELY pleased with this purchase!! What I love the most - and he addresses it in the forward - is that he not only recommends certain ways of doing things, but he gives very good explanations as to WHY you should be doing them and what the root issues are. I would recommend it to anyone wanting to know more about automotive electrical. I am very happy.

I have had my 65 MGB since 1985, and have done all the work done to it over the years. Now that I am dealing with a 45 year old wiring harness, I thought it was a good time to see how I can keep the old girls wiring from emitting smoke and fire. I was really interested in how to incorporate relays into the electrical system, and this book does a great job of not only telling you how to do it, but provides several photographs to help you along. There is even a chapter on electrical theory and how it relates to automobiles. Aside from this chapter, the book is written in plain English. There are lots of great ideas to be had in this book, and I would consider it an essential book to have along with the Bentley manual, and of course the Chilton manual. I would recommend getting this book while it is still available, and still at a decent cost.

As the title implies, this is the essential electrical manual for any MGB enthusiast. It is well written and illustrated with simple and concise information for the professional and hobbyist alike. An absolute must for any owner of these dear little cars.

This book is what every MG owner should have on hand . The book is very informative and easy to understand, it tells you why and how of the Lucas Electrical system and how ro approach certian problems basicly this book helps one to get over the intimadition of working on Lucas electrics in the MG. Highly recommend

Wonderful book!! Loads of information. The only problem is me needing to spend more time with my MGB

I am no wizard when it comes to automotive electrical problems. This book is just what I needed. In-depth coverage of the components and written in a manner that even I can understand! Very helpful!

This is a "must have" if you own an MGB. Everything you ever wanted to know about the electrical system in easy to understand dialogue. Plenty of diagrams and pictures to help solve any electrical problem. This was the best price I found anywhere.

This book is filled with accurate, well explained, useful, and all- inclusive information on MGB electrical systems. The many color pictures, charts, and wiring diagrams are very well presented and indispensible. Upgrades are included for many subsystems. There is nothing else on the market like it. I would recommend this book to anyone, be they a new MGB owner or an old hand.

An excellent resource for the British car owner - of any marque. The author's very easy to understand explaination of automotive electrical system unravels its mystery for any LBC owner. Although based on the MG, material in this manual is applicable to any classic car and is of great value when troubleshooting electrical system gremlins. Spot on!
